A Californian in Risso

This is Carlos!
This is Carlos!

We’re going to introduce Carlos, our new English assistant.

Carlos was born in 1994 so he is 23 years old. He comes from San Francisco, California and he studied English linguistics at the University of Santa Cruz. As his name shows, he has Mexican origins. Most of his family still lives in Mexico. Carlos has an elder brother named Isaias. He speaks English, Spanish and a little bit of French.

He’s not really into sports but he likes hiking. He enjoys rock music. His favorite singer is Beyonce.

We’ve been working with him for two months now, and we think he is very friendly and funny. We share him with Duruy school, so he is here every other week.

WHERE IS SAN FRANCISCO?

It’s in California, in the West Coast of the USA. It’s famous for its red bridge “The Golden Gate”, its Crooked Street, and its fog. It’s also famous for its prestigious sports teams: the Warriors (NBA) and the 49ers (NFL).
